January Repair Cafe & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Lord Mayor Dan Cohen
Fix it, don’t ditch it, with neighbours who can help!
A Repair Café is a friendly place where people fix things together instead of throwing them away. Volunteer fixers from our community will repair your broken items and help you learn how to fix things in the process. Check out our stats and photos from the pilot in January.
Alwoodley 2030 has launched the Alwoodley Repair Café as part of the wider Leeds Repair Café Network! We'll be at Room 17 @Allerton CE Primary on the third Sunday of the month from 15th March. 1pm - 3pm
Bring broken items to repair, saving money and reducing waste.
Items we can NOT fix include:
Tumble dryers, washing machines, freezers, fridge-freezer combos, cookers, stoves, ranges, cooker and oven, air fryers, dishwashers, water coolers, air conditioners, microwaves, ice makers, water heaters, fan heaters, pressure cookers
Are you good at fixing things? This is an all volunteer run initiative, part of the Leeds Repair Cafe Network. If you'd like to help out as a fixer, host or admin support, please register your interest in volunteering.
