Do you live on a proposed Nature Corridor?
Nature corridors are a chain of gardens and green spaces that help birds, bees, and other wildlife move safely between larger habitats. They benefit people too by cleaning the air, soaking up rainwater, and bringing more beauty and calm to our streets. Here in Alwoodley, places like Adel Woods, Eccup Reservoir, and Wigton Moor Park are thriving pockets of nature. By linking them through our neighbourhoods, we can help reverse Yorkshire’s steep decline in wildlife (Yorkshire Wildlife Trust)
Together, every small patch helps rebuild a richer, healthier landscape for nature and our community.
Here's how to join:

If you live on or anywhere near one of the corridors, please sign up to help out. You can help by doing one small task per season in your own garden, patio, balcony or on common land managed by housing associations or Leeds City Council. Or you can do much more! The sign up form will ask you how you'd like to be involved.
